I am Alejandro Álvarez Vázquez from Mieres, located in the North of Spain. I studied Computer Science Technical Engineering in Computer Managment at the University of Oviedo. Previously I got the Superior Title of Information Systems Management at the College Holy Family Urgel.

Since I leave University I have always been linked to the world of research. From an early age I was part of the the research project "Autonomy Code of Asturias".

Later I decided to make the jump to the private workplace in the company Vorago gives me the opportunity to develop a career in Ruby on Rails framework developing commercial sites in combination with HTML, CSS and accessibility standards.

From September 2010 until now I have been part of the robotics group of investigacton called InfoBotica which is dedicated in his major goals to achieve interoperability between heterogeneous systems between the worlds of robotics, home automation and multimedia environment, ultimately , the digital home flowing into the digital home with the help of new web standards and the "Internet of Things".
